Waste recycling is the most acute, global and most pressing environmental problem today. The lack of sorting of raw materials has led to the fact that waste, which requires a special method of processing or disposal, emit toxic substances. Air, soil and water are polluted. Our planet is turning into a large rubbish heap. Such large-scale processes as global climate change are taking place all over the planet.
You can reduce the number of landfills by recycling recyclable raw materials. This waste is about 60% of the total waste. The use of recyclable materials will reduce the number of landfills, save natural resources, and reduce the emission of harmful substances. Before processing, raw materials are sorted, since not all materials are suitable for recycling.
Our project was created to draw public attention to the problem of waste recycling, environmental pollution, as a result of climate change on the planet. We want to show that just a small effort by each person to sort waste can help prevent environmental disaster around the world.
Aims:
Students will be able to
- collect data on the problem of sorting and recycling of waste in your city, country
- will carry out actions "Zero Waste"
- will be able to understand the causes of climate change processes, which is one of the most important problems of our time, will be able to develop ideas for combating global climate change.
- Students will be able to acquire competence in scientific learning using scientific research methods, and will be able to teach in an interdisciplinary manner through collaboration between schools, based on the STEAM approach, with a special focus on natural sciences, biology, chemistry, ecology.

Working process:
-Project partners will be identified
-Project logos and posters will be created
- Students will be introduced to the concepts of recycling and waste processing, facts about global climate change, they will be provided with information about their activities.
- Students will look for ideas for solving garbage sorting problems
- Will carry out actions "zero waste"
- Seminars will be held for teachers and students.
- Schoolchildren will actively participate in the project.
